Philip Birchall is a choreographer, creative director, and educator working across live performance, theatre, and artist projects. His work is recognised for its dynamic movement, versatility, and ability to connect with both performers and audiences. His work spans major live events, touring productions, and collaborations with leading artists.
With a background as a professional performer, Philip brings a deep understanding of stage, presence, and musicality into his choreography. Trained across multiple disciplines, his work blends styles to create performance-driven pieces that are both technically demanding and creatively distinct.
A graduate of Laine Theatre Arts, Philip began his career performing across high-profile productions and platforms. This experience continues to inform his approach to choreography and direction, shaping work that is grounded in real performance environments.
Alongside his creative work, Philip delivers training, workshops, and mentorship for dancers and performers at all levels. Through this, he supports the development of the next generation of artists, bridging the gap between training and professional performance.

MENTORSHIP
The Philip Birchall Mentor Programme is an online programme to help dancers work consistently across the industry.
The programme is built for Intermediate/Advanced dancers and Professional dancers who are struggling to get their foot in the door or keep working constantly across the board. A junior programme is available for ages 18 & below to become a stronger versatile dancer, and to learn more about the industry.
YOUTH TRAINING
Keep Elevating Youth Programme consists of 16 1/2 hours over 3 months of training with industry professionals.
The programme is built for Young dancers aged 12 - 19 (under 12’s accepted through application) wanting to gain the confidence and knowledge it takes to be a successful working dancer in the dance industry.
Masterclasses
Phil HELPS shape professional dancers to be ready for the industry, and is a regularly requested teacher at numerous prestigious colleges in London, EUROPE and uk.
Phil offers many different options of masterclasses from 90min conditioning and Jazz Funk routines (commonly found in the Music and TV industry), to Industry Pro classes with Q&A’s and a strong focus on Audition Technique.
PRIVATE SESSIONS
Phil offers private 1-to-1 training online from wherever you are in the world, or in-person privates in London, UK.
